OUR STORY

Hi! I’m Emily- Founder of ‘Ula Bloom and artist on a mission.

I grew up in a family of makers and teachers who encouraged one thing: use your gifts for good. In 2016 I began working as a textile artist in NYC's fashion industry. I loved designing, but still had a desire to create something that would have a positive impact on the world. What started as a seed, became a big dream and in 2020 that dream become ‘Ula Bloom! We are an impact driven children’s brand with a passion for paint and a heart for people.

OUR MISSION

Every child deserves the opportunity to dream, grow and BLOOM into their full potential. We believe that the key to empowerment is education.

A staggering 1 in every 4 children worldwide cannot read and 124 million children are not in school today.

Education has the power to change lives and pull entire communities out of poverty. That’s why we are dedicated to making a tangible and positive impact on childhood literacy. With every art print sold, we provide literacy education to children in North America and around the world.

"With an education, you have everything you need to rise above the noise and fulfill every last one of your dreams."
-Michelle Obama

HOW WE GIVE

Once your order is completed, a donation is automatically made on your behalf from ‘Ula Bloom. Donations are made daily to our partner software, Pledgeling, and are then passed on to Room to Read.

Room to Read is a non-profit organization that works to transform the lives of children living in low-income communities through the power of education.
