5 Books That Will Inspire You to Dream Big & Achieve Your Goals

These five books are near and dear to my heart. In fact, I would credit them for giving me the courage, inspiration and motivation I needed to take the leap of faith and finally quit my day job to pursue my dream company ('Ula Bloom!!). There is so much power in reading and hearing other success stories. These five female authors have served as my mentors and inspiration over the years and I'm excited to share them with you here. If you are a dreamer with an entrepreneurial spirit, but you're still wondering how or when to leap...these are the books for you!

1. GIRL, STOP APOLOGIZING by Rachel Hollis

Girl, Stop Apologzing by Rachel Hollis

Rachel Hollis is a blogger, motivational speaker, podcaster and NY Times bestselling author. She has been an entrepreneur for 16 years and now runs a multi-million dollar media company- and guess what? Everything she has learned and accomplished came from a high-school degree and the information she found online (amazing)!  In this book, Rachel goes through all of the excuses that hold us back. She combines a bit of tough-love with relatable stories and an honest look at what it takes to succeed. By the end of this book you will truly have no excuses left- I can't recommend it enough!! If you are big into podcasts, Rachel also hosts RISE that comes out every Tuesday to give you a weekly dose of motivation.

2. BIG MAGIC by Elizabeth Gilbert

This book is a must-read for anyone looking to enter into a creative field. Elizabeth shares her theories and insights into the world of creativity. It is so beautifully written that I had goosebumps through most of it!

3. YOU ARE A BADASS by Jen Sincero

You are a Badass by Jen Sincero

Jen Sincero shares her story in such a delightfully witty and relatable way. There are countless bits of wise advice in this book- perfect for anyone struggling with self-doubt or limiting beliefs.

I loved the first book so much I decided to pick up this sequel, and it did not disappoint! Jen addresses the many stigmas we have about money and takes a deep dive into how important it is to change our "money mindset" in order to create abundance in our lives.

Marie Forleo is a motivational goddess. Her drive, determination and zest for life is intoxicating. She will truly have you convinced by the end of this book that you can do anything. Oprah has coined her a "thought leader of our generation" and I couldn't agree more. Tune into the Marie Forleo podcast to hear more of her amazing insight and listen to inspiring interviews.

Please feel free to share your thoughts on these books or any other recommendations in the comments below!

In the meantime, go chase those dreams and happy reading!!
